I can't say how grateful I am for all the positive response to the pictures thus far, and how odd it is to click on someone's website and see the photos from my gallery on there. I just wanted to drop a quick thank you to all of you, for looking, for responding positively, and for adding me and my photos to your favorites. I hope to start doing favorites myself soon.. at least as soon as I figure out how to use this website a bit better!

Well, as I think this site makes it evident, I am new to this. So far my biggest problem is that I'm struggling with what material to put up- I have The Waterfall Sequence from my trip to Rensselaer that needs to go up, but I just read the nudity policy, and some B& W photos in my series "A Sadist's Dream" may cross the line, even though there is nothing that actually shows any sexual act. Oh well... maybe what I'll do is just post them, and see what happens.
I'm really hoping that by starting this, I'll be able to pick up more a technique than what I'm using now. The difficulties for me so far have been nitpicking over where I should go to take pictures, as Albany really lacks more than a few really good places to photograph. The Wellington Hotel may be an option, as long as I don't get arrested going in there. Oh well... I hope I get some good input once I throw myself into this; the more ideas, the better!
